A Perfect Beach Day...Again!

   We got up about 8:00, had breakfast, and got ready to head back to Manatee Beach.  Bonnie and the gang were going to join us, but they decided to play pickleball first and then join us around 12:30.  It was a beautiful day...low 80's but a pretty strong warm wind that kept you from sweating.  We both did a lot of reading, but John took several walks, one by himself and 1 with Ken.  His hip is doing much better!  He got a cup of coffee that he could refill all day long.  Melissa got one, too, shortly after she got there.  I finished my book and to celebrate, Bonnie and I got some ice cream.  Melissa also got some later.  Of course we shared it with our husbands.  Ken was good and didn't eat any.  We didn't pack up until about 5:30.  John and I stopped at Publix on the way home to pick up a few groceries and some hot chicken tenders and bread to make salads for supper.  Then we went to Chuck and Melissa's for games at 7:45.  We played Skip-O which the men won (they got a lot of skippies again) and a short game of Up and Down the River which the women won.  We left about 9:30.  I watched the end of The Bachelor and The Voice.  Then I tried to do more blogging while watching "The Bachelor, After the Final Rose", but got very frustrated when the computer started acting up again and gave me fits!  So we went to bed.
