This is where we ate breakfast and lunch everyday with our free meal tickets |
We ordered and received our food here |
We stopped in with RJ after breakfast to check on the windshield shade motor we've been waiting on. He said he would track it and get back to us. We took the dogs out again because Katie let us know the drs still haven't found anything and were still doing tests. But they hope to be released sometime this afternoon. I worked on my blog and John watched some TV and then it was time for lunch. After lunch we stopped in with RJ again and found out that the part was ordered, but the request to have it 3 day air mailed wasn't done. The part is not expected to arrive until next Tues or Thurs!! Needless to say, we were quite upset. We are fortunate, however, that we can still function without it, so we decided to leave as planned tomorrow and just have it done at home. RJ did give us a voucher to deduct 2 nights of charges from our bill since we waited here all week for nothing. We were a bit frustrated, but ok with the explanations and refund. We talked with Phil, our original salesman, and said our good-byes. We appreciate his honesty and willingness to help however he can. He is looking out for Bonnie and Ken's best interests, too! John stopped at the office to get our refund and I went back over to Katie and Mike's rig to take care of the dogs. I sat down and talked a while with a neighbor of Katie and Mike's. When I got back it was about 3:00. I was so tired so I took a nap and John went to the pool. They had re-opened the pool after it was vandalized during the night. Some kids had apparently climbed over the fence and trashed it with beer cans and broken beer bottles and threw some of the furniture into the pool. They also tried to steal a car.
Unfortunately, this kind of stuff happens in CG's, too!! John came back about 4:30 and I was still sleeping, so he watched some TV outside. I finally woke up about 5:30. John was making coffee and found about 2 dozen ants in the water pitcher we keep on the counter with filtered water. We have been killing some almost everyday, but didn't realize they were hanging out in the water pitcher, too! Around 6:00 there was a knock on the door. It was Katie and Mike thanking us for all we did to help out with the dogs. Katie came in and picked out one of my magnetic pins while Mike and John chatted outside. We finally got their picture and I signed Katie's "red book". The drs. never did find anything wrong with Mike, but they did suggest he see a cardiologist when they get home. We made plans to have breakfast together in the morning. (I hope our eating together doesn't cause another fainting spell!!). John and I needed to get out of the CG so we went to Beef 'O Brady's for supper. It is a family sports pub and grill and we enjoyed it very much. When we got back John played on the computer a bit, then I finished my blog and we went to bed.
